The Egyptian Civil Aviation Authority draws the attention of Air-Carriers , aircraft owners, and all concerned that when operating aircraft from their main base inside the A.R.E. to and from bases abroad, a consent should be obtained from the Egyptian Civil Aviation Supervisory Authority in advance, considering the rules and regulations applicable inside the A.R.E. and complying with the following instructions:
(a) Inform
the ECAA of the type and registration marks and type of activity for aircraft
intended to operate abroad to allow for listing them in the National record of
Egyptian aircraft two weeks before the starting date of operation.
(b) Inform
the Airworthiness Central Administration two weeks in advance with the
following:
(1) Location and bases of aircraft operation abroad.
(2) Type of
activity intended to be performed with these aircraft.
(3) Name of
foreign lessee in case of aircraft lease.
(4) A list of
intended operating airlines, the intended schedule and alternate airports to be
used.
(5) A list of
primary destination airports (for refueling) for each airline
(6)
Procedures for aircraft maintenance at these locations and the qualification of
maintenance personnel.
(7) A list of
companies responsible to carry out the maintenance and servicing of those
aircraft at the primary destination airports..
(c) Receive a
valid permission for flight for each aircraft on ECAA form number (11 Ø . ã . Ê ãßÑÑ) from
the General Directorate of Air Transport
(d) If the
Air-Carrier have some aircraft under
contract, then they should submit the consent of the lessee or who is
concerned for departure of aircraft abroad.
(e) For
agriculture spraying aircraft a permission from the Egyptian ministry of
agriculture should be presented if those companies are contracting with them to
spray agriculture products and cotton.
(f) To
provide the ECAA with a list of aircraft flying hours and technical checks carried
out during their journey abroad on a bi-weekly basis.
(g) Provide
all necessary facilities for periodic inspection on those aircraft at outside
stations.
